Gramblr for Instagram... Yes / No?

Hi all,
I've been using Gramblr for Instragram for a while now and it's been handy for uploading shots from my PC to Instagram - saves having to type stuff out by phone each time...
...but I've just been reading people have had issues with it in the past (accounts compromised / it violates Instagrams TOS?)
I've not got a huge company riding on my account or anything like that but would rather not have the hassle of being banned from the service or it breaking or whatever... or having my account stolen either.
Anyone have any opinions on how safe it is to use? Any alternatives that are safer?
