Facebook Business Locations: switch a page from Parent to Child status?

I tried this in the Facebook Help Center and have yet to hear back. Help me, Redditors!
I requested and was granted access to the Locations feature for my business page, which put the page at a "Parent" status. However this was a mistake, and I actually want the business page to be a "Child" page so I can use my real brand ("Parent") page to adopt it.
How do I remove the location access from the page so I can migrate it to my brand page as a child location? Or simply, how do I switch my business page from "Parent" to "Child"?
