Experience with Facebook Pixel

I’m coming up with a marketing plan for a new video my client just wrapped (about 30 secs), so obviously I’m doing some planning for a Facebook ad campaign.
Typically, this client boosts posts but we want to really create engagement and then of course, conversions back to the website.

Looks like Pixel requires coding - which is not my thing, to say the least. Is this easy for any developer to add on? The client uses Wordpress, in case that helps with any insight.

Also - can insight/analytics be tracked without adding Pixel to their website?

Any random tips you have for a basic Facebook video ad would be great. (I’ve already created a few audiences, FYI)
